Nice little setup there, they are great for really tight areas like the upper reaches of the Deep River in Walpole.

Yeah i bought it mainly for space saving, i wanted a canoe but they take up a fair bit of room plus i can fold it up and throw it in the back of the suzuki sierra.

The beauty for me is at my local bream haunt outboards arent allowed, so the leccie is great.

ive got one similiar but not top of the range like the fishhunters but had built in rodholders etc. does the job well, they are suprisingly good to fish from and i cant wait to get it out on the bream

Just finished off my seat set up , i'm calling this prototype 1 as i may need to change it after testing it tomorrow because it sits differently in the water.

hi,

Chopps i like your setup.

I was looking at buying the Sevylor fish hunter 360. i went to waves in summer hill in Sydney to see what it looks like. they had a smaller fish hunter on display i think the 250, i touched the material and thought maybe it was not strong enough. So i started to look at the Fish Master 325 which seems to have stronger material.

1. Chopps, after reading your comments i thought maybe i should give the fish hunter a go. does it leak water inside ? how long does it take to inflate, deflate ? can i ask how much it ended up costing you ?

2. anybody has been in the sevylor fish master or the fish ranger, what do you think of them. how does it compare to the sevylor fish hunter ?

3. i am thinking of buying one of the above with a 40 lb thrust. is that sufficient ?

I was also having a look at the seaeagle se9 on the internet but they don't seem to have agents in Australia.

1- no it doesnt leak inside, 15mins to inflate, and deflate 2mins.
it cost me $800 as a package, boat, boat boot, oars, sevylor motor. since then i have upgraded motor to the jarvis marine 40lb thrust made chair set up and bought outboard mount.

2- fish hunter is great:D

3- 40lb is good for the fh 360

Finally got to use the 2hp 4stroke on it last weekend. It went well.
Trolled with it for a little while and got a small silver perch and a callop.
