If it moves, redfin will eat it.

I've done O.K. with Blue Pearl Pepper Atomic T-Tails, with the 'T' dipped in flouro red 'Crawfish' Spike-It :)

I always used to pick up good reddies on the orange Mr Twister single tails. This was always a favourite for bank fishing when i needed to get a bit of depth when the celtas and rapalas didn't get down to them.

Redfin are savage mongrels, and the favorite food of big redfin are small redfin. Use anything with red in it.
Small shads work well, as do small (aound 2" or smaller) as long as it is red. As Dave said, use some red Spike It or similar for some colour

Yep,
I agree with Fatman and Dave. Red, orange and fluro pinks seem to work the best here in SW rivers.
You could try out the prawn/shrimp imitation SP's in darker/natural colours - I've found most redfin i've caught are chok full of freshwater crayfish.

I think it was the 2 1/2" or 2" craws, Warren was telling me they cleaned up in a couple of local dams down his way. Definitly look at those as well.

I know it sounds like an ad for bream Master, but I have used the 1.5" pink shrimp slider I bought off the net for reddies and its awesome. I tried a metallic brown style and no go. Hope this helps. Bye.
