new prop for motorguide

I was just looking on the US website and found that there is a new prop out called a hydrilla, does anyone have one of these already,or knows if they are better than the machette two.Also i have noticed that you can get an aluminium blade are these better than the standard units or are they less forgiving on the motor when a object is collected

I understand that the hydrilla prop is the mercury (motorguide) licensed version of the Kipawa replacement props that are available for kotas.

Anecdotal evidence is that the 3 blade Kipawas give some small improvements in power & battery life over the original fitments.
