I have been using Fins braid on my baitcaster and am looking to scale down from 10lb to 6lb, anyone tried the new Linesystems Bass Hard braid on a baitcaster. I am very happy with Fins but the Bass Hard looks pretty impressive as well.

I haven't tried the Line systems on a baitcaster but do have it on one of my Stella's and so far I am very impressed. It may well be on all my reels soon. I think it would work well on a baitcaster but there are plenty of people who think that fireline is still the best for them.
I have fireline on most of my baitcasters but have squidgy braid on my little 50mg Chronarc. I doubt I would put it on a baitcaster again.
If you end up trying the Line systems let me know how it goes.

Remember the 6lb is mighty soft and floats in the gentlest of breezes, im trying the 8 and 10 next, but i do like the stuff heaps.......... cant miss the super orange.

Thanks fellas, I am getting a fair bit more confident with it and would like to see how light I can go with the lures and improve the casting distance, hence the downsizing. Besides that the burnt Orange line should look good on a burnt orange Sol. :D The Fins really seems to allow you to pick out the overruns easily I just do not want to lose that luxury, only one way to find out though.

Hmmm.... interesting. I may give that a go. I"m currently using PE braid on my baitcaster. Haven't had too many problems with it so far.

You think the Line systems the way to go?
