Hey Kris,
Maybe you should go and start targetting pinkies and you might actually get what you are after. Were there any bream around in that area today or were you just after them big fishies?? By the way i heard of someone picking up 2 fish from 2 trips in that area using live mullet. Maybe you better move up to using the mega squidgies ;)
yeh ,
i was after "those big fishies":D
Actually thought i hit one ,as it kicked twice and was REAL heavy.
Turned out, I just pulled the lure over some weird growth on the bottom that gave way a little each time ,combined with a strong outflow of current......................heart skipped a beat:cool:
soon,Jedi Master I will reach the dark side:D :D :D
Btw, only lost 3 lures too:confused:

A couple of guys up here have been targeting reds deliberately using big killer tomatoe squidgies around the island washes - and cleaning up - biggest fish reported 4kg - using bream spin gear and they have been absolutly monstered by a few fish.
