My mates up from busselton atm trying his new hornet 400. He looking at installing a livewell but isnt sure on the best way to go about it, or where it should be placed. Like to hear from anybody that has installed a livewell in a 400 Hornet or simular. Also what are the options in regards to a livewell in the Type that Brad Y has on his old punt, think it was a blue plastic fishing esky turned into a livewell. Is this legal for comps? Have included a few pics of the boat, any help would be appreciated.

SM,
With the rules changes this year, this eski is legal, but you must have a good aerator. I'll post up a few pics of what we're looking for when I get home.

I still prefer the built in type. With the hornet like that, one behind the seat to the next rib is ideal. You also end up with more deck space.

Have a look at my set up squidgee, give your mate something to think about.I am really happy with it and the 1 over flow outlet is plenty as i have had it running constantly and it hasn't overflowed.
