What are the best jigs for the bassminnows?
I want to get some of the Hws jigs from the online shop...any suggestions which size that they sell in the shop?

I like to use 1/32 size 4 or size 2 hook jiggy jig minnow heads, they give the plastic a nice jerking flashy motion.

Agreed. Either the minnow head or the normal round head size 4 or 2 (weight is up to you) from Jiggy Jigs. Great value for money.

i use TTs in ether HWS or the standad bullet head.
use lighter heads for the best action i mostly use 1/20 or 1/28th oz.

mate id have to agree with you on this. i use the squidgy finesse resin heads in #4 with bass minnows and they work a treat. But another good jig head is the .5g #4 Squidgy finesse jighead. The shape of the finesse jig head gives the bass minnow a great darting action and the light head gives it an ideal sink rate. You should bag alot of fish if you use this combination.

It is interesting how much the jig "head" shape affects the action thru the water I did the experiment with a 2.5" atomic paddle tail. Try it using a round head and then a finesse head in the same weight and hook size ..... just something to think about when your choosing what tackle to use in a specific situation.
Cheers
