Well, I've been using these for a while now, after getting sick of losing fish to the weaker hooks on the ball heads. I was glad to see that they introduced a 2g no.4 head. Now I feel they need to address weight issues with the no 6 hooks. Currently they are only available in a 0.5 gram head. I'd like to see a 1g head in that hook size for when you need small profile lures on windy days or deeper water/faster current.
Also, has anyone noticed that after a while the lead wobbles on the hook and the hook keeper gets pushed out of line with the hook? Especially in the lighter sizes. After a couple of casts, or a fish, or relesing from a snag, the leadhead needs to be squeezed tight with pliers. This changes the head shape and affects the action.

Unfortunately with high production the lead heads of the jig heads that will always be a problem. I would rather use say Jiggy Jigs, Enviro jigheads, Nitro or something where the make is more important than numbers out the door. You also get the weight you want on suitable hook thickness. The sharpness will also be greater. Have a look around and see what other people are using. Try a few diferant jigheads and see what works better for U. There are choices, a some have a better action for differant plastics not aimed at just one brand ;) .

Shortlite,
Envirojigs are available via this website, and Nitro's used to be, but may have recently been removed as I didnt see them there when I checked.
Mine are also available via a website.
I think you'll find a lot better quality and value if you simply look around.

Thanks for that info Dave.
Will be looking to try the jiggy jigs with Owners when I get back in Feb.
For now, I am a broke Uni student who only buys like a pack at a time, going with what's available in a good size pack at a pocket friendly price. I love the strong hooks on the Finesse heads, and just wish the heads were better finished with better keepers, and available in more varied weights/hook size combinations.

Mate belive me when I tell you I know how it feels to be a broke uni student. Was actually the main thing that inspired me to start my own business (obviously to make money but also to try to supply cheap gear for people such as uni students like us...lol)
Man online stores like this one and others are great for anglers in Aus. With minimal overheads compared to a normal tackle store, online stores help to keep prices down for the average angler. Breammaster.com was a big step forward for OZ tackle and led the way for others (mine included) to follow the trend.
