Fish Finders

I need to replace my old Lowrance X48 fish finder after doing some research I am more confuded than when I started. I am looking closely at a NAVMAN 4380 or 4500.
Any thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated. It will be fitted to my 5.0 Quintrex CC:confused:

Ive got a Lowrance LMS 480M and its a great sounder and has GPS, although Black n White it is 480x480 which is pretty ok from what I understand.

The ones you mention are colour sounders, and a mate has the 4380 and it works a treat for him, it really depends on your budget. Im guessing around the $6-700 mark - so Id also look at the Eagle sounders they are owned by Lowrance and are there slightly cheaper brand. You also have the Matrix 37 67 and 97 as well I think, supposed to be real good.

Good luck and Ive probably made your choice worse.
