They are a great reel... but get the new model. It's definately superior to the old (as with old/new Stradic) - not sure of exact stats but has super slow osscilation amongst other things...

Hye bream dude

yes shimano sustains are hot...very hot lol:D , seriously though, they are an excellent real. i was looking at getting one a while back, but they are a bit out of my price range. u would be looking at around $420 at the cheapest, but if u ask me i think its worth it, second best to the stella (so ive heard). there sizes range from 4000(at the biggest ) and 2000 and 1000.

The 1000 holds 2/270, the 2000 holds 6/170 and the 4000 holds 8/240 (a little bit big for bream), if u are looking at getting one i would get eigther the 1000 or 2000.

They all have 5 bb, 5.2:1 gear ratio, water proof drag, aluminium body, super stopper, dyna balance, floating shaft, power roller, aluminium spool and they are very light.

This is a web site that will tell u ne thing and everthing about ne rod or reel on the market..except tica i think www.campbellsprotackle.com

Hope ive been some help

Cheers Matt
