My mum says I am 28. So I think I will stick to that.
Thats funny how that works with girls Mim :D I can never work it out. When I was 28 I met a girl & was going with her for 9 years & when I met her she was 34. When we split up after 9 years I was 37 & she was only 36   I had a drink with her 3 weeks ago back in Sydney & I'm 42 .85 & she is still 36
Is there a formula  Maybe thats what women did in the secret womens business work out a method of calculating their age :D :D
Is there a formula
Funny you should say that.
I was at a girlfriends place last night for an avon party. Someone asked one of the kids how ols she is. Her answer was "I am nearly 13", her birtyhday is not till September, so she has only just turned 12. My comment was "funny how when you are young you want to be old. But when you are old you want to be young again. I think this is why I say I am 28, cos thats as old as I feel. I am in actual fact 36, but I don't feel any different than I did when I was about 18, only a little wiser, but given the opportunity, I am sure I could be just as much an idiot now as I was then.
Cheers

Mim I know what you mean by as old as you feel :D Between 30 & 35 I felt about 90 & was always tired etc. The by accident the docs found I had a heart valve about to fail any minute. Had open heart surgery & got it replaced with a mechanical valve & now I feel like a million dollars all the time. I'm better now than I was at twenty when I look back.:D Mind you for 2 days after the operation I felt like 146 but was too full of morphine to care :D Ah yes brings back memories of neon purple iguanas & space spiders crawling around the intensive care ward :D I knew i shouldn't have watched Lost in Space & a David Attenborough documentary the night before the op.
I knew i shouldn't have watched Lost in Space & a David Attenborough documentary the night before the op.
David Attenborough documentarys on their own, even without morpine would be enough to give anyone nightmares
LOL
I'm 18 in March.
I SHOULD be off crutches by then. TOUCH WOOD!!!:D
I feel super young now that i'm at uni. I remember i was the big fish only 4 months ago, now i'm the lil fry again! Too many mature age students! (Sorry Mim)!

Old enough to know better.....
Old enough to know that after 3 bottles of Red I will fall over...
Old enough to know that everytime I go into a Tackle Store I do not need to buy anything...
Old enough to know that my lovely wife does not appreciate fishing tackle for her birthday...
Old enough to know that the day I don't go out in the boat is when the fish fire...
Old enough to know that I am not 18 anymore and it hurts when I fall over...
Not quite old enough to know that I shouldn't chase 18 year old birds around...
God I feel old all of a sudden...

I must be the old man around here at 50 been fishin for about 45 years of that .I started fishing with my GRANDFATHER in Sydney Harbour as a boy useing cat gut lines on a cork ,you had to soak them in water for a couple of days before you went fishing and then wash them again when you got home. Its certainly a long way from cat gut to Fireline.

45 in total: 40 y.o. (years of fishing life), 9 y.o. (since coming to Oz-born again!)
Last time I checked I was 27. But I had better check with the missus, she seems to know everything:rolleyes: :D
