Thinking of doing something different and heading up to Yanchep / Two Rocks with the dinghy to hit some reefs for tailor. Anyone know of the general water depth around that area, and if you need to travel far to get to good reefs? Never been offshore up there...
Just need some white water, a few cruising tailor, and some tasty-looking poppers... :D
cheers

Theres some nice looking reefs off the beach at Pipidinny that must be within a Km from shore. Only problem is you'ld have to launch from 2 Rocks (is there a boat ramp at Yanchep ?) and hang a lefty for quite a while. Haven't tried it myself but they look inviting and I have landed some nice Tailor from the beach there.

Hey Chris,
try the reefs around cot and swanbourne aswell. The cable station reef has almost no swell on it most of the time! Although i don't know whether the fishing ban applies there from a boat?
