no real tips as im no flyfisherman,not yet anyway;) but a guy at a flyfishing store told me bout 1 week ago the golbourn was the place tro be,so u should do ok,good luck.

fished today early morn the rubby 3 fish between 3 one each not a bad morn. arvo went to the http://www.goulburnvlyflyfishing.com.au/ talked a bit had a look at there new creek then hit the goulburn. apart from a few half harted rise nothing at all wasnt to great at least we all got fish and had fun.

how many megalitres was the river running at? it would have been pretty low right?

33-36 about on measuring it up against the rod then measuring ther lenght it went on the rod. if you get that:rolleyes: not a bad fish on a wierd nymph. i had to pull it out of a tree under the water. it ate it like a meter up from the tree the jumped into the snag in the water and got my sceond nymph stuck but i got it free then a few more jumps and it was in my hands then swimming of.:D all browns:D the goulburn was low no fish but the rubbicon was pefect.:D
